In before a Brony unit takes Disneyland in a military coup and holds the executive board hostage.
Disney acquiring Hasbro? I'll wait until I get an official confirmation before I say anything.
Seriously people are upset about this? It didn't ruined Marvel stuff (not counting few unfortunate cases like ending shows like Spectacular Spiderman), and will not ruin Hasbro stuff. Especially considering current cartoon on Disney Channel.
If Hasbro will be assimilated by Mouse Empire it will mean that we can have both pony toy and Disney Princess toy at once.

Because he know I'm going to go out in this plane and I'm going to remove one of His creations from His universe.
I'm with Mio on this one. No point in getting worked up until we have some information beyond "Hey, this might be something that could possibly happen".
File under interesting rumor :V
That pony Ariel amuses me.
Hopefully they aren't planning to acquire another company so soon after the last.
Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.
Especially since it cost them 4 billion dollars.

Now reading: a mature (clop?) fic called ''Xenophilia". The guy put actual serious characterwork into the story and has some interesting culture comparisons going on.
That has the potential for being so wrong just by title alone.

When All Else Fails, worry, that's the 14 way.
Yeah, but at least the writing is reasonably good. One of things that automatically improved the story's standings in my eyes was when the protagonist and Dashie started comparing their cultures and acknowledging the differences.
Even if Disney does end up buying Hasbro, I doubt that I would be concerned at all.
I take it Xenophilia is about humans in Equestria?

@Ace: While I do believe that just about any idea can be done well, I'm still probably going to avoid that one. I'm not a fan of clop in general, and the title implies some additional content that I'd rather not see done in detail.
@Ed: And I've got a Jolly Roger somewhere in my flag/insignia, yo ho ho.
