If you've been paying attention, then you've known that Scott has liked the show for a little while.
I feel like this episode wasn't as good as some of them, but Dastardly Spike is awesome, Mr. Quills and Sofa is awesome, and drug references are also awesome!

Hmmm... I guess grown dragons are only an ecological problem when they hibernate and snore. I also did not expect to see one in this episode. I thought the existence of any adult dragon in any part of Equestria was supposed to be a rare occurrence, but I guess it wasn't technically in Equestria.
Did Aloysius remind anyone else of the X-1 robot from Futurama?

^^ Personally, I was expecting the return of the Ursa Major when I saw the cave.
And guess that sort of answers why they didn't bring Spike for Dragonshy. Adult Dragons seem to be quite territorial towards other dragons (though Spike eating some of his treasure didn't help).

Anyone else like the how Scoots volunteered to become Dash's assistant? I think it's a nice development after what we had last week.
It also lend further fuel to my theory that we may eventually see Dash teach Scoots how to fly. Could very well be the makings of a future episode.

I could potentially see that happening, but for the more immediate future I'm guessing it might be more akin to a big sister/little sister type relationship, which seems rather appropriate given that two of the other CMC have members of the 'Pony Gang' as their actual sisters.
Still, this all does leave me wondering just who Scoot's relatives in Ponyville might be, especially since I get the impression that she's at least somewhat of an oddity as far as the town goes with her status as a Pegasus that hasn't learned to fly yet.
