I find it interesting this is the first time Twilight specifically mentions Spike is her friend.
Also, the end of the episode seems to imply Aloysius is sticking around, so we might see more of him in the rest of the season.

What I'll never understand is why Hasbro Gave rarity a little bird, and Dash a totally random squirrel in the toy line. Rarity has a cat in multiple episodes, and Dash should have a little twittery friend.
