EQD's current poll is for favorite Canterlot Pony. I picked Fleur, because her design is awesome.

Ah, I see. Do you have a link?
Yes, Fleur indeed has a very nice design. I like Fancypants better though, I guess.
Although the canon Blueblood is unpleasant, to say the least, my headcanon's Blueblood is significantly influenced by The Best Night Ever so I do not dislike him too much.
Let the gratuitous fanservice and zaniness be purged.
Everyone likes Fancypants that's why he's hands down winning the poll with over 50% of the vote. I still don't like the guy. Far prefer Blueblood.
It's on any Equestria Daily page.
@d Roy I know how you feel. Sometimes it's hard to distinguish between fic-canon characterization and show-canon characterization, especially when you're the one writing it.
@Turnabout Storm Oh God. I don't think I can sit through something that long. Not at the moment at least...

I didn't expect Hoity Toity to be dead last, but I guess I should have since he didn't really do anything outlandish in his one episode.
Manipulative? How so? It's not his fault that he's a trend setter and the other Canterlot ponies are blindly following him. We never actually see him deliberately doing anything to influence ponies in his own favor.

They (Sapphire Shores and Fleur) have more votes for them than Blueblood. Which is a travesty I say.
well I voted for Sapphire Shores, so meh!
Her eyes aren't closed quite right. It looks more like she's playing hide and seek and keeping them closed while counting to 100, rather than having them closed naturally while taking a nap.
actually, I think her mouth may have something to do with that impression as well.
Rarity is certainly a romantic, and is probably the only one of the mane cast who has marrying a nice stallion on her list of life goals.

@Lurker - I never thought about that, but it makes sense.

This further reinforces my headcanon that Rarity is the oldest one among the Mane Cast. I'd say she's, in human terms, around 25.
I'd put her around 28 or 29. Twilight: 20-22 Rainbow Dash: About 25. Fluttershy: 26-28. Pinkie Pie: 24 or 25. Applejack: About the same as Rarity, nearly 30. Spike: About 10. The CMC: 8-10.
@Blissy: I think that's because her eyes are outlined, when in the show they normally aren't.
I've long since given up trying to figure out their ages. I eventually just went "They're all in the 18-26 age bracket".

@Bluespade - Wow, your age bracket is older. Rarity and Applejack nearing 30s...hmm.

Twilight definitely seems the youngest to me, she seems to have the least life experience, is still a student who doesn't seem to be expected to work for a living, and is very naive about things. She also has that obliviously arrogant attitude that really young people have, where they seem to think they know everything and don't even realize they're patronizing all the older, more experienced people whose advice they ignore.Rainbow is probably the second youngest.Probably because I'm older, lol. What's up, Train?
