RD could be a good mom if she was able to focus on it and take it seriously. She usually has difficulty with that, but I think it wouldn't be out of character for her realize that it's something important enough that she needs to buckle down.

In the said fan series, the original plan was to make RD Scootaloo's sister. Apparently that was not insane enough so now RD is Scootaloo's mom. Yes, some of you will probably know which one I am talking about by now.

Well I can't confirm the authenticity of this one hundred percent, but to go with the theme of big announcements this week looks like the we can confirm the first issues of the IDW comic in November.

Uh, wow, that was really short.
Well that was really short. I honestly can't decide if I like Rainbow Dash Presents or not. I can't stand The Mentally Advanced Series. Cupcakes and Rainbow Factory were hilarious enough that I've watched them both several times, but most of their stuff has been pretty weak. But for some reason I still find them funny occasionally for reasons I don't really understand.
Well the animation has improved at least.

They aren't quite as influential in their respective episodes, I guess. Photo Finish and Hoity Toity got decent amounts of screentime.
