@D Roy: Here's my theory about Chrysalis. She probably thought that since she could harness the Power of Love to power herself up, so if she let Cadance and SA get together she could just absorb that love as well and get even more powerful.
@JT: Caution: Never try to feed on Love except under "safe" circumstances.
@Ace - Not nearly as often in fiction. In
Real Life, they tend to be like that because there are so many factors to consider that some ones just slip by them. Not so much in much simpler fiction.

Let the gratuitous fanservice and zaniness be purged.
Since I've somehow become a freshm'n in my time away, I've been learning about Greek Myth. I wonder if anyone's ponified the 12 (13 counting Hades) Olympians, or given the princesses godly titles?
I think Celestia would be goddess of friendship, the sky, and the sun.
Back in Black, and by black I mean BLU.
@Lurker - When you impersonate someone, you usually do thorough research on the said person.

I guess that despite being all evil there was still aspects of Luna in there that didn't want to actually harm them.

I wish they had season 2 songs for violin though. It's a neglected instrument. Even flute is better represented
That's a funny way to spell viola.
Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.
@Lurker - Shouldn't info like Cadance being a love goddess a really basic info? On that note, shouldn't she have done at least some research on Cadance's personality before trying to impersonate her?

Those are both weird ways of spelling saxophone. I'm trying to learn it, actually.

Well JT has ponified Palutena so there's probably a Hades lying around.

I like that the stamps show the Princess making a Trollestia face.
Apocalypse is the first letter of the alphabet.
@d Roy I don't think that it would be. Heck, Twilight didn't even recognize her full and official title, and she's extremely well read. Considering her (as of yet unknown) role in The Crystal Empire, it's likely that she's not from Equestria in the first place. Sure, she could have gotten the intel somehow, but her plan was running on a very strict time limit. Not exactly conducive to doing that much leg work on short notice.
@d Roy: Chrysalis probably isn't all that into roleplaying whoever she takes over. I bet she usually leaves that to minions, and only did it herself this time because of the importance of the mission or because she wanted to be a pretty pony princess.
