I just thought of something interesting about Shining Armor. Does anyone else think that he kind of looks like a male version of DJ-Pon3? At the very least, they have the exact same body and mane colors, and are both unicorns. What if DJ was a relative of the Sparkle family? Not necessarily a long-lost sister of Twilight's (unless there was some reason that DJ wasn't raised with the others, like being lost and then adopted by other ponies), but maybe a cousin or something. Also, both times she appeared, either Twilight and/or Shining Armor was involved in a big event (Twilight was part of the fashion show and the wedding party).

So, I'd been wondering where the whole "Young(er) Celestia had a pink mane" thing came from. I just recently noticed that she has a pink mane in the "storybook" panels at the beginning of the pilot. I've lost count of how many times I've watched that episode.

Could be. It's one of those out there "there's no evidence for or against it so it might be true" type things.

That's not too bad; it's an easy to miss detail. Like there was a guy in my high school biology class, and like the last month of school he points to the glass cabinet and goes "Hey, there's a skeleton in there!" The skeleton had been there for as long as we'd been using that room, which had been a couple years at that point.
