Sweetie Belle looks bemused.
Fluttershy is naturally nice,
I think "Putting Your Hoof Down" implies that this isn't quite true. That Fluttershy has always been tempted to be mean, and that fear of confrontation held her back from it just as much as her own inherent kindness did.
Apocalypse is the first letter of the alphabet.
Not really. I took it as Fluttershy is simply so used to suppressing her anger, or other mean thoughts that when she tried to stop doing so she simply had no idea how to control them cuase they are just so antithetical to her nature.
Build a fool proof system, and the world will create a better fool.
My random thoughts
With Rarity and Pinkie it's a bit easier to attack them for frivolity than anyone else, but I'm sure she could think of something terrible to say to everyone she knows if she tried hard enough.
@Apple: Fluttershy would probably attack Twi's more... obsessive tendencies (Lord knows she's got a lot of them).
1) Tough question. I find that I easily identify most with Twilight and Fluttershy, but I like watching Rainbow Dash the most, with Pinkie Pie right after that. But in the end I think I'll go with Fluttershy.
2) I haven't really had time to reflect on what my favorite is out of all of them just yet, considering I've basically speedrun my way through the series. As a whole I think the Cutie Mark Chronicles affected me the most without being freaky like the rest of the eps of Season 2 though.
3) I think Pinkie is great! But that damn fanfic seems to have ruined her with a lot of the fandom. =|
4) Macintosh, eyup.
5) Sure. though she probably wouldn't get it. Wonder if she'll make a reappearence.
Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.
Yeah, that's what I pretty much thought. And I think she was just saying what she perceived to be the most hurtful thing she could think of, to inflict maximum damage.
Tealove is best pony.
Ask The Mane Six
Want them to cry? Tell a lie!

@Mio: I dunno lol, they might currently be blacklisted after causing one too many cases of Talent Failure Depression/Insanity.
Am I the only one who doesn't feel that "Cutie Mark Failure Insanity" is an actual thing? It kinda cheapens their characterization if you blame any of their breakdowns on magical influence that they have no control over, IMO. It seems like most people here headcanon it, though.
