As for my ascension to bronyhood, I heard about it in a guy's Deviantart journal, at first thought "My Little Pony? Are you serious?" but then kept hearing about it and eventually looked at the trope page, then watched the two pilot episodes and decided that yeah, it was a pretty good show.

For those who wanted cliff notes about the video, it starts off with a lady reading a letter about whether or not MLP is demonic. The lady never answers the question. They then move on to the smurfs and how someone (I think they were referring to a fan of the show) was into occult things because of the smurfs. They then talk about being intimate with god (so many ways that can be interpreted wrong). Lastly, they say, don't worry, pray and all your problems will solve itself. If it doesn't work, try again until it does.

Or until you die, whichever comes first.

But how could it be demonic? The presence of magic?

Well, to sum up the video...

Oh, btw, the uploader has added Picard's Face Palm every now and then.

They're not sure if MLP: FIM "a satanic cartoon." One said no, but then said "anything could be anything."

Then they suddenly go on to Harry Potter and say that "more kids have been drawn into witchcraft since Harry Potter."

That's the end of the pony bit. They just tangedly went to Harry Potter from ponies.

And smurfs too. Yes, GODDAMN SMURFS. "If don't know what smurfs are, they are not that cute little cuddly thin. They are satanic. They do satanic... Uh... Pentagrams."

Then she tells about how somebody took all smurf sheets, curtains, "smurf everything" from their house and burned it all. And something about oiling the place and asking "angels of god to clean it out." I don't think they burned down the house though. And claiming some kid slept peacefully for the first time in months.

Then they go on about "faith healing" and claiming that they had many cancellations of surgeries because of it. Apparently pretending you're a 1st level cleric lets you heal "rotaror cuts" (what are those? from rotors?) from peoples arms. A whole bunch of how "laying hands and praying to god works."

Then it goes on some random bits abouts gods omnipotence, how you should pray for everyone, a fat lady sings and they all agree that they should beleive everything in the bible. Oh, and supposedly you can have "intimacy" with god and know he is real.

The lyrics for the fat lady singing sounds like she wants Jesus to molest her. What?

Oh, and apparently pretending you're some priest who has god's favor, you can tell home electronics to stop working if you don't like them being used for something. She mentioned a "DVD... CD... Player" so I guess it must have been some "satanic cartoon" again, since she mentioned her husband and it sounded like she was talking about her side of an "arguement" of what kids can watch.

Yes, they breed. Pray for mercy.

So yeah, take it all with a grain of salt, sprinkle it over some popcorn and just shake your head or laugh at the stupidity.

Anyway, I checked out MLP because some random people around here mentioned it, so I looked over the trope page and checked it out. So now I'm ordering custom painted blind bag figures off of ebay.
