Who said they had to polish it off? Imagine a chunk of your arm and leg bitten clean off. That would probably make it harder to hurt things. A couple more chunks, and you're probably close to death.
Also, we're probably talking about cartoon version piranhas, anyway.

@Story: Yup, definitely Derpy's fault. Also The Emperor's New Groove joke FTW. All we need now is Derpy hauling llama!Celestia around in a sack while humming her own theme music. Chrysalis would make a better Ysma than Twilight, though.

I agree with Purple on the subject of being turned into a pony.
BTW, I kinda wonder what's with the lack of attention AJ get's in the series. She's almost never used for anything in the show, and she has the least amount of episodes out of any of the mane 6. It's gotten to the point where people make jokes about her being a Background Pony. Hopefully she'll get a bigger role in season 3.

The thing about AJ is that there simply is less to do with her in a lead role. Out of all of the characters in the cast, she needs the least development and has the least to learn. This makes her a great supporting character and a go-to pony for moral support, but it kinda shunts her out of the spotlight. And you know what? I'm okay with that. She's a great character, and she still gets great moments, but they're just in episodes focused on other characters.

They just seem like good friends to me.
There could be an AJ episode where she goes out of town for a few days. While she's gone, the rest of the mane six all do something stupid or foolish because AJ wasn't there to stop them.
