Well, to be fair, this Galashy induced enough hnnnng in me that I almost asploded, so that statement was almost true.
EDIT: Quote blocked, since I'm page topping.

What amazes me is that FS seems to be able to out Moe most other moe characters, whilst being far far far less useless and iritating than them.
In another forum, I'm a sentient off road vehicle.

I think she might be the MOST MOE character that I've ever seen too

I loved that comment:
“over there [america] i heard that MLP is somewhat akin to [our] anime otakus… the endeavours of furries are strong huh”
Reminded me of all those western commenters who are always trying to spread "insider information" to everyone about how "actual japanese people" are thinking.

His first line, and it's just chilling, is what it is.

The japs have totally and predictably fallen in love.
I expect sales.
And some goddamn decent models.
From this development.

Necklace, necklace, necklace, necklace. Annnnnnnnd, big crown thingy!
THAT. BIG. DUMB. MEANIE!
The armscye's tight, the middy collar doesn't go with the shawl lapel, the hems are clearly machine stitched, the pleats are uneven, the fabric looks like toile, you used a backstitch when it clearly called for a topstitch or maybe even a traditional blanket stitch and the overall design is reminiscent of pret-a-porter and not true French haute couture. (Yes, I did just type that from memory )

The [[en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toile Toile]] comment was pretty mean. She was basically saying it looked like low-grade "practice" fabric.

That reminds me. Did anyone else notice in that scene that Discord has two heads?
It's another of those "he's messing with physics" things, but it's really subtle. It's hard to explain, but pay close attention to this:

Did Rarity even understand what Fluttershy was saying during that bit?

You might have to add 'http://' to the front of the link?
Oh, Pacific State, stop saying 'Japs', please. It's a slur.
Let's see... "You're going to LOVE ME" is up there, as is Flutterbitch's "Your face!". And Applebloom's "Thievin' what now?" from "Cutie Mark Chronicles". The whole sequence with Discord's exploding chocolate milk is also fantastic.
^I'm sure she did. She is a fashionista, after all.

Pacific: I'll try to explain as best I can since this is second hand (my knowledge of sewing terminology is pretty bad and I had to have it explained to me too, hehe).
The armscye's tight - I think it's those vine like things wrapping around her legs... an entire night of wearing something too tight around her legs would probably suck
the middy collar doesn't go with the shawl lapel - straight forward nitpicky, yes, but it's also the gala, so...
the hems are clearly machine stitched - straight forward and extremely nitpicky
the pleats are uneven - straight forward, well, let's face it, this basically amounts to the dress being sewn uneven, which is pretty bad
the fabric looks like toile - I've been told toile is practice material no one should be expected to wear, so this is actually a bit of an insult to Fluttershy if the fabric is actually toile
you used a backstitch when it clearly called for a topstitch or maybe even a traditional blanket stitch - I'm unfamiliar with what stitch is good for what and this was never really explained very clearly to me, so I can't really comment on it
and the overall design is reminiscent of pret-a-porter and not true French haute couture - she's basically saying it looks more like mass produced ready to wear stuff from the department store than the custom dress she was promised, which, if it isn't true, is a big slap in the face to Rarity. If it is true, well, Rarity dropped the ball.
