@D Roy: As far as I can tell, he's a bit bitter over the fact that JJ is so mind-breakingly popular when a lot of drawings (primarily the humanizations) all look really samey and haven't improved a whole lot. Essentially, he takes issue with JJ's decision to pump large amounts of good (albiet rather similar) artwork rather than slowing down and focusing more on improving.

It was
Poor Communication Kills on both sides, really.

You know I think you could interpret the characters in MMDW as in character, but only if you take a really cynical interpretation of the characters in this situation.
Or if you assume other stuff happened offscreen.
Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.
@Swarm of the Century - Ah...that episode. Yeah, it really bugged me that Pinkie just didn't tell them right away. It's hilarious that in
Friendship is Witchcraft, Pinkie
does says it very clearly that she needs instruments to form a one pony band to lead the parasprites out of the town. Of course, no one listens.

I would ship Twilight's and Shining Armor's parents more, if their names were mentioned in the show.

I loved this part in Ponyville Confidential:
"Mr and Mrs. Cakes are breaking up!"
"We are?"
Always seek to learn new things.
Mental image: Mr. and Mrs. Cake filing divorce papers the same way they would fill out forms for, say, opening a joint bank account. And not realizing until their attorney asks why exactly they're getting divorced.
"It said so in the... news... wait a minute."
