@ anon: Hah, I'll admit that I also spent a while brushing the hair of the Twilight toy I got. But In my case I have long hair myself, so I saw that her hair was just a bit tangled and immediately thought, TANGLES... MUST, BRUSH, TANGLES!

Anyway, the viking thing reminds me of Pearls Before Swine. One of the recurring "jokes" is about a group of toy vikings who like stereotypically girly stuff.
