Their saftey record is appalling.

Know what struck me though, now that I'm older and wiser,

those engines are literally working for their lives. They fail.....they get scrapped.....they die. Crapshack world indeed.

Is it any wonder I took to 40k so readily at the tender age of 9?

Don't worry too much about it. Hasbro isn't actually making any attempts to have the episodes removed from youtube. They seem to be happy that the show is spreading so much.

I'm saving up to buy a custom, if I can find one for a reasonable price on Ebay (that is, one that Eq Daily doesn't link to). Thing is, all the good ones are really expensive, and I just don't have that kind of spending money.

On the toys thing, I saw a Fluttershy toy on a friend of mine's TV. His mom said that a friend of his had brought it over.

I'm not really hiding it (I have a Rainbow Dash background on my computer, a Rainbow Dash bumper sticker, and the aforementioned custom pony), but my parents either don't care or haven't connected the dots yet. It's only a matter of time before they comment on it, but I suspect they'll be more mildly confused than anything else.

I just wish that we had the blind bag ponies over here; I actually think they look better than the brushable ones.

I'm not much of a toy person. Maybe when I was a kid. I'd prefer something practical like a shirt.

In terms of closetness... two of my best friends were already bronies when I came out to them and my sister already loves the show and I have no reaosn to reveal anything to my mother.
