The long, flowing mane does have its problems on occasion.

Heya Apple, knew you'd like Pinkie as a waitress on rollerskates :D

In true Otaku fashion I have spare unopened sets of the blindbag threepacks :V Shiny doesn't have his fancy coat on his toy.

@Jake: That's the true hazard of Rapunzel Hair.

Or wavy, gravity defying hair. At least it doesn't get in your face.

Everything's been done. Everything has a meaning. However your life at best is to serve as a building block for others.

I wonder what Dashie's mane would be like with a lot more power.

Somehow, I can imagine that even normal size Pinkie could warp reality just enough for it to not hurt her somehow.

Okay, now that my mind is a lot cleaner, let me elaborate on my opinion on the Canterlot Wedding.

What I Didn't Like

  1. The whole sudden introduction. No matter how I try to look, it seems clear to me that Shining Armor and Cadence were created just for this episode. I am feeling as if I am forced to feel empathetic toward them.

  2. Chrysalis (I feel awkward for using that nickname) just isn't that interesting of a villain, especially compared to likes of Discord. She feels too much like just a generic villainess. To make it worse, her presence doesn't even feel threatening. I feel that she went down way too easily. I guess she had far too little screentime for that.

  3. The goddesses and the mane cast just got shafted in favor of Shining Armor and Cadence. Celestia went down far too easily (couldn't she have at least struggled in that coccoon?) and Luna is nowhere to be seen until the end. The mane cast was ultimately unable to do anything to tip the scale of the game. I personally wanted to see Luna pulling a Big Damn Heroes moment, but I guess that was too much.

  4. The entire atmosphere was far too corny to my taste, especially the song.

  5. It wasn't long enough. Maybe if it was, there would have more room for make things awesome.

This is about it at the moment.

Coming up next: What I liked about the finale.

@D Roy: Well, kind of a shame Chrysalis didn't give you a good impression. She needs your love [lol]

Fun Fact: While Lauren Faust herself has a ponified avatar of herself (tagged "fausticorn" on Derpibooru), Cadence reflects her relationship with another girl she used to babysit.

Funny how Fausticorn has become such an essential part of fanon.

Not really. I don't include her in any part of my fanon at all. She's just a popular target for art in the fandom.

Sorry to just hop in and blab something random(I know I've been doing that a lot recently, due to lack of free time with a job and all), but something's occurred to me the other day:

So when a cloud makes percipitation, due to altitude it's always snow first - it melts and becomes rain as it falls if the lower air is warm enough. This, of course, means that it's really cold up at cloud level. Basic weather, right? RD even says that upper altitudes get chilly in Dragonshy.

But here's the thing: It's very clearly NOT cold in Cloudsdale - The girls and the citizenship are abole to walk about without any clothes to speak of. You can make the case that Pegasi are naturally insulated, but the others? Plus, we see that the weather workers making snowflakes ARE dressed for the cold.

Which points to Cloudsdale being temperature-controlled, which is... rather significantly harder than weather control, I should think.

I wonder if they just settle on a year-round temperature, or if they have their own seasons? They're above the weather line, so there's really no reason for them to subject themselves to cold OR heat if they don't need to, so Cloudsdale could realistically be like, Paradise all year round.

I consider this because I'd been wondering how somepony born and raised in Cloudsdale would adapt to ground-life, and I got to thinking about how it might be really hot because of them being used to the cold upper atmosphere, but then.. well, all this.

Pegasi have natural resistance to moisture and low tmeperatures. Earth ponies have natural endurance against bad weather. Unicorns that have the skills can learn Insulate Against Weather magic.

So, who's got that plushie and Celestia bedspread there?

AJ's nightmare!
