When RD was training for the Wedding SRB...does that mean she did a few 'practice' ones?

Also, Pinkie can eat even more than before!

Ep 22.

Another Fluttershy episode? I see where this is going. Again. *sighs*

That is one beefy pegasus.

What, no comments for Derpy?

Bit of a Thread Hop, but I couldn't watch that episode without thinking of Digger. I mean, compare Spike to Shadowchild: he belongs to a species that isn't inherently antagonistic, but all before him have either been born feral or raised by others of their kind; the simple fact that he wasn't makes him an anomaly.

Oh, Fluttershy. Did you actually think faking wing injury would work on her? [lol]

What is a Taffeta cape anyway? Is it a special material that disappears after one episode?

I don't know what I just watched.

Oh, and Hurricane Fluttershy is great. I don't think I like it as much as everyone else but it's still good.

That flying coach reminds me of Big Mac.

Oh, so Fluttershy is gay. Way to come out of the closet, girl.

Oh man, that music while Rainbow was dashing was sweet. I wonder if the soundtrack has a title.

hurricane Fluttershy is AMAZING, by far one far the best episodes of the show.

It is a cool episode, I get the feeling people wouldn't rate it as high if we hadn't got an overhaul of "Jerkass RD" episodes beforehand though.

This has nothing to do with anything, but It's About Time was a great episode. It had a lot of Twilight/Spike interaction and that's always a plus.

2.3? Good for her, because I was actually expecting her to improve by only 0.1 windpower.

I'm surprised you didn't mention the Bioshock/Fallout style film.

@Psi By "overhaul" you mean just MMDW, right? Because I can't think of any other episodes this season that she was any different than she normally was.

@Psi 001: It's weird how RD was overall less of a jerk this season, and yet this is the season they decide to really call it out and give her some "comeuppance" over it.

kinda sorta ninja'd

@Perpetual: Some people also count "May the Best Pet Win", saying she was a jerk to the prospective pets. I personally don't see it, but I'd rather not have those arguments again. Although my favorite aspect of Hurricane Fluttershy is definitely that it focuses more on the competent and caring side of Rainbow Dash's personality, which just doesn't get enough screentime in general.

[up]I was mainly abiding to episodes criticized as such or ones where she is the one given an Aesop (nearly every pony is being a Jerkass to some degree in their spotlight episodes in order for an Aesop to have effect), so yes that one counts in a sense along with Read It And Weep.

Maybe it's more the fact she's ended up a bit of Commander Contrarian and been the one most consistantly at the butt of Aesops, meaning she has to act up a bit more than usual. Even in other character episodes like "Super Cider Squeezy" she's been getting a mini Aesop placed in for her rather than the spotlighted character.

Hurricane Fluttershy stands out as it shows her key traits like her aggressiveness and bull headedness as actually proving useful for once.

[up][up][up][up]That was less an aesop and more her being the Butt Monkey for the episode. Though it does seem to demonstrate that even when she is right she's wrong.
