They do, they just aren't pronounced enough, IMO. Like you could swap 90% of Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle's dialogue and not have it be OOC. Compare to the main cast where if you swapped say, Rarity and Twilight, the vast majority of it would sound really weird.

That's easily the best moment in the episode.

@JT That was true in season 1 but season 2 fleshed them all out, in my opinion (they could still do with more characterisation but hopefully season 3 will continue what 2 started with the Crusaders.)

@Purple: I think it's true in some episodes (Sisterhooves Social), but I still think they need a bit more fleshing out before they'll be on par with the mane cast. They're definitely moving in the right direction though; S2 handled them far better than S1 did. I just wish they weren't so much on the same page all the time.

Yeah, that episode was DT's first big step from petty antagonism to full villainy. She is indeed far more interesting and awesome for it.

Oh my God, I've never seen Big Mac talking SO MUCH! I think he just said more lines than season 1 and 2 combined!

This episode is AWESOME.
