My headcanon is that Dragon Quest takes place before A Friend in Deed chronologically, and Spike caught a ride with Cranky during his travels around Equestria. He's even wearing his original wig in that scene.

Actually, I think that his new wig is actually a subtle Continuity Nod, considering that it was designed by Rarity and is essentially Steven Magnet's hair. Or it could just be them reusing assets.

They probably could have taken the dragons in a fight, and looked like they were about to, but Spike kinda bailed before they got the chance.

She teleported Spike.

I like how there's a clear progression. In Ticketmaster she did it involuntarily and only took one additional passenger. And she accidentally singed said passenger when he is nearly immune to fire. And then in Secret she voluntarily teleports 3 passengers without hurting them. All that studying is paying off.
