that Luna's name was Selena for a short time, but there were legal problems with it. She is referred to as "Princess Selena" in the storybook Compressed Adaptation of the pilot episodes (which also calls Nightmare Moon "Night Mare").

As a programmer, I prefer the name Lua.

Though it wouldn't be the best name for disguising yourself if you normally go by Luna...

Does Twilight REALLY count as Weak But Skilled?

Unskilled, but Strong I agree with completely, but I'm not too sure on the other one

True, she's the weakest member of the mane cast physically (although I think that honour COULD still belong to Fluttershy), but she doesn't really have a skill to make up for it except her magic.

I guess there's also her intelligence, but I'm not sure if that counts

^According to the Weak But Skilled trope page, Unskilled, but Strong is the exact inverse. I'm not sure she can qualify for both, and if she does, Unskilled is the better fit.

The only place I can see that being applicable is her scuffle with the Hydra, but anypony would count as weak against something that size, so...

According to the YMMV My Little Pony page, there was a G1 pony named Princess Serena. *shrug* Maybe that's why it got changed?

Feelin Pinkie Keen did show her as 'tough', but all the ponies are toons. This, therefore, makes them invincible.

I'd say she's more of a Lightning Bruiser, but the editor probably confused it with the Tank: she's certainly exceptionally endurant and tough, more so than RD.

We haven't really seen a Fragile Speedster yet, have we?

Maybe the Wonderbolts, since they were knocked out by Rarity in one hit.

But reall, those tropes are more relevant to videogames and RPG, they're kinda pointless in this context... I feel they're shoehorned...
