Sorry if this has been discussed before (I've skipped loads of pages on this thread) but has anyone seen the ask-lil-miss-rarity blog on tumblr? I find it highly disturbing and I don't think it's amusing at all. It's just disgusing to me for some reason. I like The Pinkamina blog because it actually manages to be funny using dark humor, but THIS... ugh -.-

Is that the one where she has the bloody eye?

Celestia never really kids about that though, does she? It's all in Twilight's head.

Twilight probably just worries too much. Celestia is more easygoing.
You'd think Twilight would realize that after being her student for most of her life. I'd say she should learn to chill, but panicking Twilight amuses me so.

Well, if you had done something you thought might upset an immortal, nearly omnipotent deity, how would you react?

Maybe Celestia was mostly an absent mentor, with Spike sending the notes and all. He did it when they were still in Canterlot after all.
Maybe Celestia is strict with Twilight as a teacher.

I just had a thought of Celestia training Twilight like Piccolo.

But instead of dodge, Celestia plays with Ursa Majors.
Am I the only one who wants to see more of Spike like he appeared in his daydream in "Dog and Pony Show"? Maybe a fanservice episode?

I meant fanservice as in a shout-out to fans, maybe an episode involving Octavia/Ditzy/Vinyl or one of the fanon ponies.

Yeah, there'd probably be a lot of angry bronies if the pony in question was represented the "right" way.
Although, I can see an episode with Buff!Spike turning into THAT kind of fanservice...

It's...really not a fanservice show. Manly Spike was supposed to be a gag, especially since it's a baby dragon imagining it. If it's how he sees himself he needs a better mirror.
No, we don't need an episode for the fans. Keep the background ponies in the background, please.
I'm a college student! I don't have time for this!
If they do anything for fans, I'd rather see what little girls want done than adult men. It's their show after all.
^Do the little girls actually follow the show, I wonder? I mean, yes, obviously the target audience watches the show and buys all the stuff, but there's no eight-year-old fandom to speak of, is there?
Edit: By which I mean, I doubt there's any real 'what the eight-year-old fans want'; I imagine they're okay with whatever happens. And really, I wouldn't call them the base the show's intended for. Marketwise yes, but come on - haven't we spoken before about how strictly categorizing things isn't helpful?

But they've already got ponies and rainbows, which are the stereotypical things little girls want.
Ooh! I know! Kittens!

A couple of nods here and there, like Lyra and Bonbon hanging out together in the background, or Derpy with Dinky are fine, but we don't need a whole episode of that. Doing so would annoy more people than it would please, since it would give canon personalities to ponies that are currently up for fan interpretation.
