Owl's Well is firmly in "meh" territory for me as well; there weren't any glaring "WTF were they thinking!?" type errors, but on the whole it just wasn't really that memorable outside of Spike's Dastardly Whiplash getup.

@Mousa: I love that second picture. I think you nailed the expressions. If you're looking for other scenes, I'd love to see your take on Flutterrage. Or any of the stuff from the Gala, really. EDIT: Better yet, the Diamond Dogs.

Random question time: Which two of the mane 6 are most likely to be secret agents of some sort? Why? Who do they work for? Does each of them know that the other is also a secret agent? If so, are they allies or enemies? Does anyone else know that they're a secret agent?

Pinkie and Shy. It's always the silly/quiet ones. Pinkie would know that Fluttershy is a secret agent, but not bring it up until it would be funny.

@Kyler None of them are. The agents are actually Gummy and Tank, gathering information to begin the reptile uprising.

Yeah, the thing about secret agents is that their public personality is almost always a front, meaning that you can't approach the question with their canon personality. That's why I went with the really ridiculous answer, as there really isn't one that isn't ridiculous.

Okay, I realized that one of the alternate endings to Cupcakes is a case of Hilarious in hindsight.

One of the alternate endings to that fic was where Cupcakes turned out to be just a story that Fluttershy wrote after listening to way too many heavy metal songs. Later on, she gives Pinkie a CD with a bunch of songs that Andrew WK did, which Pinkie end's up enjoying.

Guess what? This ending was written and put up on EQD LONG before the gorey Cupcakes video with the "Get ready to die" song by Andrew WK, and also way long before Andrew WK was confirmed to be a brony who's favorite charector is Pinkie. Irony is awesome.

there is a fic about Fluttershy doing that. Can't remember the name. think there is also one about Twi doing it, only she didn't realize that it was improper, and even ended up reading some of her work in public in front of her parents and Celestia.

@Purple Actually, that does exist, somewhat. Though, it's more like Twilight tries to write a trashy romance novel, and it told to write what she knows, so all of the characters are then thinly veiled expies of her friends, and the descriptions are filled with science-based idioms and metaphors. I believe it's called The Naked Singularity.

I vaguely remember hearing about a fic where Twilight accidently sends Celestia some of her slash fic instead of a Friendship Report, but I can't remember what it was called.

@JT, Lurker: I just now noticed something about both of your avatars. Scootaloo is looking up at the same angle that Celestia (or some other alicorn?) is looking down. It makes it look like they're looking at each other whenever Lurker posts after JT.
