Owloycious (or however it's spelled) is often considered a Mary Sue, and many considered Spike out of character. To many Spike fans it was like MMDW for RD fans.

Others have just called it boring and unfunny.

I like that episode. Not my favorite but I like it more than few others from first part of season and Diamond Dog episode from second part of season.

Because he know I'm going to go out in this plane and I'm going to remove one of His creations from His universe.

Owl's well isn't really hated, it's just, bleh. If anything that's worse the MMDW owl's well was just boring. Htere was nothing that really stands out, nothing that makes it great, it's just forgettable. Only think people really liked from it was Spikely Whiplash.

it's never anywhere near the top of "Most hated" lists

But's it also always near or at the bottom of "favorite" lists.

also I need to stop finding fics to add to my read later list and actually read some of them

I liked the dastardly spike outfit (because it was campy: same reason I liked dastardly Gustav in MM Mystery) and Spike treating Twi's saddle blanket like a pair of panties.

I personally really liked it upon rewatching it. Spike overreacted, yeah, but if every character acted perfectly all the time there wouldn't be any lessons to learn, and there would rarely be any conflict. It also set up Spike's possessive streak rather well, meaning that Secret of my Excess didn't exactly come out of nowhere.

The message it was TRYING to convey was alright, it's just they bungled the delivery so that it could mean something different.

Also, I have learned that digital art is like a crutch. I have become a slightly lazier sketched because I keep thinking "I'll make it look like how it's supposed to in sai". You think this happens to other artists?

AHR: Not a big fan there either, but I dislike excessive slapstick and that episode was almost entirely slapstick. But it gave me Pinkie rolling in the grass, which is really adorable.
