I learnt years ago that I'm at my happiest creating things...so my CM would be either:

Lego Bricks,

Something 40k related,

Or something to do with writing/drawing.

I wonder what would happen if somepony tried to copyright their CM. I bet they have laws against that in case of repetitions.

What if one's cutie mark is the copyright logo, then?

Hm, I think that the RIAA is one of the few things that have not been ponified yet...

I've always had a thing for social sciences, and how civilizations (real or otherwise) work. So my cutie mark would probably be a Globe or something similar.

You know what I'm surprised hasn't been done much with pony music? Straight on mashups. Sometimes it's kinda creepy how well two songs will fit together, and it's always cool to see. We need stuff like this, but with ponies:

I've just played Harley Quinn's Revenge. Twilight Sparkle had a rather prominent role.

And I have no idea what my cutie mark would be. Guess I'm a blank flank.

I'm just at work, so I'm posting erratically.

I'm pretty sure about the moment in which I would have gotten a cutie mark if I had been a pony.

I was... I dunno, perhaps eleven or something, and it was summer, and I was at my grandma's, and I somehow came upon a description of the Liar's Paradox. I loved that. I started messing around with it and its variants, and I sort of came up with the idea of considering fractional truth values, Fuzzy Logic style, and I more or less spent the rest of my summer playing with the notions of self-reference and contradiction.

Then I more or less forgot about it for a long while — I mean, I still liked logic, but I never seriously considered specializing in it until I started college (and even at the beginning of college, I thought I'd be rather going for mathematical physics or something like that; but it turned out that I did not enjoy doing that kind of math as much as I enjoyed messing with bizarre nonstandard logics, and here I am.)

Not really as cool a story as the ones of the Mane 6, I suppose; but still, if there is one moment that defined my interests and what I consider my "talents", that's the one

I would still be a blank flank since I seem to have no purpose in life. I have nothing that I do really well or specialize in enough to have it symbolize myself.

It will come, I think.

I mean, a few years ago I'd have said the same, I had a lot of doubts if I had not missed my calling or something like that. I seriously considered starting back from the beginning and studying chemistry instead — after all, I liked chemistry too, and clearly math was not for me, so why not?

Thinking back to it, I thank Celestia that I stuck to my earlier decision. I mean, chemistry is cool and all, but it's not as cool; and someone with such a Derpy-like penchant for dropping things as me would be a major hazard in any chemistry laboratory

@Carciofus: The logic you're studying is the mathematical, symbolic type logic, right? You're not interested in the more formal Socratic / Aristotelian logic?

Yeah, I do mathematical logic.

I also have some interest in Aristotelian Logic (there are some cool modern works about connecting the two, and I've been reading about them), but I honestly don't know all that much about it — that's something I like, but it's not really something I am an expert in.

And sorry for the derail, I know I end up talking about logic far too often. That's a topic I am into, but I don't want to turn into a Trixie or anything
