But MLP and Transformers are great/awesome in both time periots. Between those are only crappy MLP and Transformers (exept Beast Wars).

Well, I know pretty much everyone has drawn an interpretation of this, but it fit with the ATG theme, so have a sad Celestia sketch.

Something of note, d Roy. The first two episodes aren't exactly of lower quality than the rest of the series. It's more that the two-part adventure plot isn't really indicative of the rest of the season, which is more character-focused and slice-of-life.

Those episodes are one the best of series.

But most of first half of season is weaker that second half what is good thing.

Here's a minor mystery solved, anyway. What was Granny Smith's name before she became a grandmother? Edith Smith.

I had a feeling that 'Granny' (and Big) are just nicknames.

Like Big Mac's real name is just, Macintosh Apple. And Granny is now Edith Smith Apple.

Since I assume that there are people who read this thread, but not the one on Yack Fest, I'll repost this info here:

The Helsinki Brony meetup was held yesterday, on a cloudy afternoon. To the surprise of the people in charge, about 50 bronies showed up at the Central Railway Station meeting spot. Getting plugged by EQD sure made a difference. While waiting for the last people to show up, someone put on a ridiculously creepy horse mask, and another guy started passing around slices of mettwurst (a spiced sausage which often contains horse-flesh). Eventually, the group moved to a nearby park, where those interested started to custom-paint pony figurines.

Those of us who were feeling like lunch left for a nearby shopping centre, where I bought the best kebab I've ever had. By the time I got back to the park, it was raining cats and dogs, so the parkists went to a nearby tunnel for cover while trying to contact the rest of the people to regroup. I left them soon thereafter, and from what I've come to understand, they hung out in that tunnel for an hour before ending the meetup.

I had a bunch of fun, and the people I met were really nice and easy-going. There was some talk about staring a PoniCon or KoniCon*

. If it's not at a terribly inconvenient place or time, I'll definitely attend.

Fifty-odd people walking the streets in a group, with one of them wearing a horse-mask, attracted way less attention than I thought.

I was sure that people would think we're some pagan horse cult.

Not entire inaccurate, and possibly easier for the average person to accept.

And if you're asking where she was during the second Nightmare Moon incident, presumably she was locked inside the sun or something.

Oh yeah, forgot her name. It kinda gave me an impression that she just hid and reappeared at the opportune time just to troll every ponies. :/

So one of my favorite Godzilla fanartists on deviantArt (and the guy who's doing covers for the new IDW Godzilla comic) has drawn ponies. He's the second person I've been watching for years to start drawing ponies.

And it is glorious.

Rainbow Dash was allowed to keep her Iron Pony title, despite the fact that she got it through cheating, yet when Applejack is basically FORCED to cheat (it was the only way she could match Rainbow Dash's cheating, who was the one who started it by the way) she ties for last place.

Well, they made up the Iron Pony competition, so theoretically AJ could've made another competition and given herself the title.
