Look, these are the lines I draw: no genitalia described or depicted, no underage sex. Otherwise, I have no problem discussing the sexuality of young adult ponies: it's an important characterization point, and I don't see why we should shy from it. After all, according to Word Of God, ponies do come from somewhere...

I'm torn when it comes to dark-fics, on the one hoof they can be awesomely hilarious (or hilariously awesome), but on the other they're just depressing.

You really need to seperate the fic from the actual show in your head I think

The one I assume you're watching with Rose is the 9th Doctor, Christopher Eccleston. He's followed by David Tennant and Matt Smith, who is the current Doctor. I would recommend you watch all of Eccleston and Tennant's seasons before you watch Smith.

No, it was mentioned several times in the original series that a time lord can only regenerate 12 times (including their original body that makes 13 forms)

There were even several arcs about villains trying to take his lives (like the Valeyard)

I personally would watch Eccelston first, but that's just me

Ah, ok. I hope we keep Smith for as long as we had Tennant.

Yeah, Eccleston only had one season, so he should be easy to watch. Since he was the beginning of the new series, a lot of things and concepts get introduced then.

For some reason my dad likes Eccleston more. He's only seen a part of a few episodes though.
