Well like, for example, he has a flare spell. He shoots a jet of burning sparks up into the air that can linger around, completely illuminating the area. However, if he aims his horn at the enemy, it becomes a handy ranged attack. He can can't make it more powerful or anything like that. It all demands on the aim.

Artemis Fowl are worse. They get a new power every book.

I'm not big fan of
Badass Normal they are to often trieted as better that superpowered character because of their lack of powers (that often hapen with Batman). Or to have abilities who normals shouldn't have.
Because he know I'm going to go out in this plane and I'm going to remove one of His creations from His universe.
What I mean is that he figured out new ways to apply his Geass rather than randomly going "Oh, by the way, it can now go through walls" or whatever. Compared to say, Ichigo, he certainly doesn't pull new powers out of his ass. Although his plans certainly go into Xanatos Roulette, though.
Oh I thought you were talking about the battles. The geass stuff is pretty clever.

"Oh, you can dig really fast? Ok. And sonar beard thing? That makes sense. Wait, luminescent, tough saliva?"
You forgot lockpicking, gas propulsion, suction cup pores, and being immune to the bends.

@story The gas propulsion kinda makes sense, but the suction cups and lockpick were pretty bad. And the "no bends" was horrible.

I don't mind coming up more power via sheer willpower. I'm a fan of BURNING JUSTICE!

Anyway, I think Opal Deception is where it got really egregious. Also, Light is better at exploting his power in inventive ways than Lelouch was.

What's got you thinking he's immortal, Sky?
Journalism is just a gun. It's only got one bullet in it, but if you aim right, that's all you need.
