Well, I might not be here for Echoax to tell his views, though I already know what they are. I'm just hoping that things will go okay {I'm starting to think that I really am the Element of Worry}. I have no idea why I worry so much.

Man, this is the reason to love comic books, right here. How else can you have this kind of conversation and relate it back to everything else?

In all seriousness, I think that Batman is overrated, despite never reading any of his comments or seeing any of his movies. Comics and stuff are a form of escape from our own dreary lives, not a window into some other guy's. Okay, I acknowledge the fact that I sound like a troll right now. Besides, Deadpool can break the fourth wall and get his fans to fight to get his opponent to lose.

@Echo: Hey, you're pretty talented!

[up] You're entitled to your opinion, but how do you know he's overrated if you hardly know anything about him?

Not bad, Echo, you have strong foundations in your style :D

Also yeah this thread is fairly quick.

You want fast threads, head down to some imageboard or IRC channel, peak traffic in imageboards can see threads mushroom within seconds. I'm just used to high traffic so this is fine with me :D

Yes, but if the other guy's life is interesting enough (say, a multi-billionaire who dresses up as a bat to punch criminals) then it can serve as escapism too.

And even stuff that isn't feel-good fare can be cathartic, thought-provoking, or just "Well, at least my life isn't as bad as that guy's."

Thread traffic in-season can get to imageboard-tier [lol]

BTW, buy more pony merch, and use the feedback page on Hasbro to push for Season 4 [lol] Vote with your wallets and fund more pony!

Bruce Wayne is pretty neat because he's kinda in a similar boat to Tony Stark, only he's more insistent on nonlethal takedowns and less technomancery. Tony's fun to watch because he has a serious ego and lots of character flaws that add some depth to him, mind.

The first thing I was gonna complain about was the fandom/community, but my 3 posts here seem to have beaten my argument into the ground. I originally believed that all bronies would jump to help their fellow members. I've seen several times where people that claim to always want help sit on the side and do nothing. I've seen bronies that believe in the Love and Tolerance throw it out the window the moment someone has a different opinion then them.

This one isn't really a concern to me as much anymore. I'll post the derpy part in the 10 minutes. That dumb limit for new accounts.

Thanks for the compliments and whatnot about my scribbles.

Plus, Bruce Wayne is severely psychologically disturbed. If anyone really did what he does the way he does it, no one would be able to say otherwise.

[up] We're really not so terrible, right? smile

@Echoax: Glad to see that you were proven wrong in that particular regard. I told you that you've been hanging in the wrong places of the fandom {Not the place where you and I usually go to}.wink

Allright, I gotta leave. I'm hoping that things go allright and civil. See ya all around. And Echo, think about if your really sure that you want to leave this place.

A lot of recent Batman writers portray him as having some issues trusting the other heroes, where idealistic guys like Supes tend to give some folks the benefit of the doubt (if they deserve it). Admittedly Tony does some similarly jerkish things too, although it tends to stem from a "I'm a genius so I expect my calculated suspicions to be right" angle rather than Bruce's trust issues.

I'm a little more laid-back than most would expect, and temper my inner hotblooded Super Robot Pilot with some chillness [lol] Different strokes for different folks, I'm not gonna judge people in their private hobbies as long as it stays Safe, Sane and Consensual [lol]

The thing about never finding peace and not trusting anyone is that as far as flaws go, they only serve to make him cooler.

[up][up] Hey, I mean, if that's what he's into, right? [lol]

Plus I saw this funny thing that Forbes did, the "Fiction 15" for the richest fictional characters, and the bio on Bruce Wayne was written as if they didn't know he was Batman, and it implied that he was into some weird shit.

@Brocolli: Whenever the show is airing :V

By the way, I repeat: buy more pony merch, feedback to Hasbro for more G4-style quality Pony goodness on TV :D Vote with your wallets and fund more seasons!

@Condo: How else do they explain his bruises? [lol] At least Movie!Tony Stark outed himself as Iron Man, although he drew a ton of flak from the feds for not sharing his powered-armor goodness. Myself, I know I would sell the tech to the SAF locally, but limit what I sell and make sure my personal suit of armor is more badass than anything they have.
