Besides, we all know Fluttershy could kick all their asses, given the chance.

Proven by Adventure Ponies. Then again, speed disadvantage may once again prove an issue.

Pinkie Pie is an earth pony and can thus be assumed to be physically one of the strongest. Her party canon also helps with range issues. She's also one of the fastest. Overall a pretty good contender.

Applejack has Super Speed, Super Strength, Super Stamina and she can kick objects with accuracy for range.

You see... Batman is just so cool! But sometimes, what he does it worng! I know he gets results, but... but... I believe that there has to be a better way.

Superman may not be as complicated as Batman, and maybe he's not as interesting, and maybe he's got too many powers, but he's nicer.

So... why do I like Batman more?

Ya see, this what I think about when I lie awake at night.

[up] That's so cool! It's just like when I found out that Pierre Gringoire was a real person.

Apparently Batman keeps a kryptonite ring in case he needs to fight Superman.

But yeah, a character's quality has nothing to do with their power.

EDIT:[up]I find Batman more interesting. That's why I like him more.

Yeah, like that time all of Batman's plans to defeat the Justice League were used against them?

The dark side of Crazy-Prepared.

Plus, Batman can only defeat Superman if Superman is deliberately limiting himself, and then he had to fake his own death. If Superman really wanted to kill Batman, it would be over in 2 seconds. But ya see, he would never do that.

I made an edit saying that I liked Batman more because I found him more interesting.

EDIT:[up]What you say is true, but the problem with Superman isn't his number of powers. After all, I really like a character who has almost 13 quadrillion powers.

And since Batman can't kill Superman as soon as circumstances shift Batman's lost.

And that's why he's great, he's the mortal who can reach high enough to defiantly punch a god once and then he'd lose.

Eh, Superman doesn't have that many powers anymore. He has the Standard Flying Brick powers, super breath, heat vision, x-ray vision, and enhanced senses. He had way more in the Silver Age.

To make Superman interesting, give him a problem that he can't punch into submission, like a moral or interpersonal conflict. For example, Superman: Red Son had Supes even more ridiculously powerful than he usually is, but it was a great read because of the ideological conflict driving the story.

Exactly! The problem isn't the powers but rather how they're used! If you give someone powers, they shouldn't be used to effortlessy solve all their problems!

Man, I think I'm getting geek all over the keyboard...

EDIT: I did like Red Son, by the way. Bonus points for the punny title.

[up][up]Well, he can command the creatures of the deep, which inclues Cthulhu...

And yeah, powerlevels have nothing to do with how interesting a character is or how good of a character they are. It's all about how you use them.

All I know about Aquaman is the Ink Stain Adaptation version of Super Friends and the occasional times he shows up in crossover events.

Though I am so psyched for the new Man of Steel movie!

I don't know, some of my favorite Superman moments are of him punching things really hard.

Of course, those are almost always against people who he still can't beat by just punching them, but that's only because they're just that strong, not because they present a moral dilema.
