Do they even really act like children?

I think they act relatively mature most of the time (except for Pinkie)

I'm trying to think of what Discord reminds me of the most. Probably Kefka

I haven't heard many people (anywhere, not just here) comparing him to Kefka, even though the two are VERY similar. Especially his retort to Twilight's "World of Cardboard" Speech.

He actually doesn't remind me THAT much of Q. I can certainly see a lot of resemblances, but overall they still feel VERY different. (Discord is a lot more evil for one)

I feel like theorizing.

Okay, so, Word of Faust once stated that Prince Blueblood is related to Celestia from her mother's side, right? With a whole bunch of generations in between. Which means that their mother was a mortal pony who also had a mortal husband.

So, from this I gather that the father of the princesses was a pony god. Which makes me suspect, is their father the Pony Zeus?

What's the worst that could happen anyways?

For me it's imposible to see him as Q, his powers, voice, behavior it just like Q.

I don't see any resemblances between him and Kefka, but it's propably because FF is one thing what are for me so much horrible that I don't whant touch it or even be close to it.

IMO Discord is like a nastier version of Q. Can't remember Q abusing Picard et al the way Discord abused the ponies.

And I can't picture the Mane Six being treated as prepubescent children; they're too responsible and emotionally mature for that. Even Pinkie Pie is responsible enough to organize events and run the bakery if she needs to.

^^^Yeah, the girls are definitely autonomous adults. Twilight lives on her own (and takes care of Spike) with no problems, Rarity owns her own business, et cetera.

^^Would you trust Pinkie to run a business by herself? =D

@Gingerale: That makes sense, actually. I also imagine that either of the princesses could conceive by a mortal stallion, though he'd have to be something special to be worth the honor.

Q wasn't that bad on screen but other characters hated him as complite monster.

Or, y'know: They just have to like him as a person. I don't see why he'd have to do anything special to be deserving of screwing a princess.

^I imagine she can run the Bakery by herself; it'd just be safer if she had someone more responsible around for the money parts.

Also, yeah, that's a fair point. I imagine there would be a fair amount of uproar if either of them took a consort, but really, who would deny either of their princesses that?
