Also, fun fact about The Walking Dead - as the game is connected to the internet, Telltale keeps track of the decisions you make and aggregates them with the decisions of other players. For example, 87% of players choose not to kill the cannibals.
@Waz: Alright, mind explaining then?
Yeah, Andromeda is heading for you. You got over 9000 years until it collides.
Wikipedia does a pretty good job: "A double standard is the application of different sets of principles for similar situations, or to different people in the same situation". Since there's no standard to hold humanizations to, (personal appeal?), we can't compare them to other things. So no, Sereg, it's not a double standard. I'm taking up a different issue.
Orion's original statement was something along the lines of "why do some people like ponifications, but not humanizations?". Well, why do some people like the color green and hate the color red? They're both colors, aren't they? I mean, if you boil it down, ponifications and humanizations are both "from one creature to another", but liking one and disliking the other is not a double standard.

I still have to read Fallout Equestria. Sooner or later I will, probably, but the sheer size intimidates me.

For me it's not double stander but reverse of most writers are human.
Yes I always like nonhuman over humans in any work with fantasy or SF elements.

Man, wouldn't that have been funny - Littlepip goes on a murder spree and oops, turns out they weren't mass-murderers. Shit.
@Sereg: Read my edit. And also, what are these "standards" you're talking about? Define them so I can see what you're talking about.

@Sereg And they just carved words into his skull because it was the right thing to do with his body? I thought the story made it quite clear that he was murdered, personally, and Littlepip reached that same conclusion. Of course, she still shouldn't have done what she did, but that's not what I'm arguing.
Since I seem to be doing an excellent job of killing discussion, how about I start a new one?
Has anyone tried out Source Film Maker yet? I've tried to pose stuff in Garry's Mod plenty of times, but it's so frustrating that I give up. I've done a
little bit of 3D animation before, so maybe it'd be worth giving SFM a try. I wanna make a Eppaljeck movie

I never said that. Don't put words in my mouth. You're also going from "personal dislike" to "morally unacceptable".

It's seems that whenever there's an argument to be had on this thread, I'm a part of it. If you don't want me talking, I'll shut up.

I'm now picturing Dashie bugging Twi and Applebloom into whipping up Extreme Gear for her so she can show Wave the Swallow how you race.
