Just wondering, between Gex and Light Phaser and some others I've seen elsewhere, what's up with kids these days being all into retro games? I can see people my age or older getting back into them long after their time due to nostalgia, but what about these games attract the current generation? It's not like they lack good modern games to play, modern games are flat out amazing and much more common than video games were "back in my day."

I think this entire post is making me feel old.

I just wonder what got them into them in the first place.
