Apple is fine as well, pinky needs concera (an ADD pill), rarity is fine too (nice to finally see the Rich Bitch subverted, Twilight is...Tara Strong which is good enough for me.

Also listening to my iPod while posting and Another F. U. Song by Reel Big Fish just played...I can make so many people laught or cry or both with this show and that song.

I wish I could be paid for bashing. As is I'm stuck with attempting to give out helpful critique and get paid in appreciation.

Honestly, I think the characters are the strongest point of the show. The plots are indeed weak on some occasions, but there's enough depth to the cast that I can almost always overlook it.

Yeah, I like Rarity. She's the "prissy fashionista girl character" archetype you see in a lot of kid shows, but there's a neat twist there (artist rather than shopaholic) that makes her more likable.

Anyway, I won't complain if van bashes stuff. I mean, that'd just be sad.

@Steve: It's the fact that JJ prefers to churn out a lot of same-y artwork rather than attempting to actually improve or spend more time differentiating his characters more.

Most prissy Fashionista's in kids cartoons are assholes of the highest kind and are usually the major antagonists of any cartoon show that features high/middle school as a setting

Personally I'm fine with most of his pony stuff. He's got plenty of cute artwork there. His humanizations, however, are... egh.

@Stevebat, I've already had my beef about him like five times already, now I'm now just playing it up for the sake of it because, what else can I do? Even if I go up to his face and tell him every teeny tiny thing wrong with his work nothing will change.

I'm just cranky and get a kick of complaining.

@J Teeth, this wouldn't even be a problem for me if he hadn't been doing the exact same thing since 2005!

@Pannic: Rarity is second-best pony for precisely that reason.

JJ's ponies are really good. His humanizations are...adequate. There are a few individual pictures (such as certain Rarity picture that I would get into trouble for linking here) that are very good, but on the whole they're rather mass-produced.
