I thought that the guy was just being rude about what he thought of the show. The fact that he admitted to being a seventh-grader didn't help much.

The beauty of episodic shows is that you can always skip to the good ones.
That is true, the episodes do not need to be watched in order at all, so you can skip around as much as you like.

there is nothing new under the sun,
B.S.
and to the new guy... yeah, MLP does use a lot of cliches, but its one of those shows where its hard to be upset about it. I mean nobody expected much of an MLP cartoon when it aired.
Most of us stick with it because they're so damn adorable.
Also, I honestly didn't see the twist to Griffon the Brush Off coming the first time I watched it. Usually, the lesson with those types of things is that kindness begets kindness and not to judge a book by it's cover. Instead it gave us the much more realistic lesson that sometimes, people are just assholes and there's nothing you can do about it.

When did he admit to being a seventh-grader? Mentions he has a job - kinda mutually exclusive unless someone's violating child labor laws.
@Gex:Criticism is allowed. We certainly do plenty of it here ourselves. If someone comes in and starts blatantly trolling or trying to pick a fight, then call a mod, otherwise, chill.

@Gex. Um What NO. Okay stop right there. This is critical information that is actually quite valuable to some of us. If you don't like it then IGNORE IT. Or take a thump, I don't care
Yeah, I didn't see the ending coming in Griffon the Brush Off either.
Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.

Hhmph. Must've misread the second post you made.
Alright, I admit to being a dick. I guess I'm gonna take a break for now, seeing as I pulled a dumb move, and now I'm gonna get reported by half the people on the forum.

I should watch the Gilda episode again now that my judgement is not blinded by: SKIP THIS SHIT I WANT TRIXIE NOW. (*Cough*... *cough*...)
Oh, I absolutely ruin the Hallmark Channel movies my mother loves to watch for her when I'm in the room. I just can't help but tear them apart as I watch.

I disagree about the earlier episodes being weak. I actually like The Ticket Master.
Really, the only consistent problem I have with the show is little oversights and how the "lessons" tend to be either broken, or misdelivered, or both.
Like how in "Baby Cakes" Pinkie never actually feeds the foals or puts new diapers on them and winds up costing the cakes four bags of flour (which can't have been cheap) and yet she somehow proved she's a responsible babysitter. WTF?
But yeah, criticism is good.

Hallmark Channel? Let me guess, filled to the brim with sentimentality and platitudes that ultimately benefit the person who says it more than the person who is told it?
I wish I'd gotten to know her before I fell in love
