My sympathies. It cannot have been easy for those who knew her before the incident.
But they seem to
know where they are going, the ones who walk away from Omelas.
I can kinda sympathize with that. My grandma suffers from dementia, and sometimes her memory is completely shot. It sucks.
I had a grandfather like that, though it was more a case of gradual degeneration. I still remember that he helped install our grill way back when I was little.

Yeah, that's part of what makes it so surreal. I can remember what she was like before it set in, so it's just weird to her acting not like herself.
Seems like having someone close to you get drunk, except permanent.

Back in Black, and by black I mean BLU.
Sort of, I guess. I haven't really hung around with enough drunk people to tell if that's an accurate comparison.
Well, I can say that being around a person you know when he/she's drunk is really surreal and confusing.

It's not the same. I was around a drunk person once, and they were talking in normal english sentences that happened to not make sense, but tehy didn't realize they weren't makign sense. It's annoying but completely different. As opposed to say, shaking whenever you move and needing help to do everything.

Sorry about your loss, Veni.
Do it, Rockapella!
I hope your aunt rests in peace, Veni.
Anyone want to speculate about the Jatt and Jill poster? Maybe one of their advertising people is a brony.

Has this ever happened to anyone?

My PM box is always open to anyone who wants to talk/vent.
Not a loss as such, more of a blessing.
My uncle refused to let her go.
Can you see the world like I do? Can you smile away the pain? Can you feel the cool wind blowing? Can you smell the coming rain?

My sympathies for your uncle and all the others who didn't want to see her gone.

Fortunately, my Google+ profile pic is a nondescript little drawing.

@Whatshis: Okay, that's just weird.
Bufallo link if getting a forced line break in the middle of it. Tinyurl it or something.

Yes but it uses a made up word and omits the relative pronouns. So it's not very gramatical.

I had to put the trash out while it was drizzling a bit -_-
In New Mexico, it's considered moonsoon season when it rains more than once a month. Also, looks like I accidently misposted again.
