And I just read the German comic/translation as well. I don't get what "Handgriffen" was supposed to mean either. I'm guessing based on the next paragraph it's supposed to be something like earmuffs (in the cancelling out noise way), but...

Also, German Rairty is indeed hardcore.

Hello everyone. I've been gone awhile. It's my birthday today. I got to play an excellent rpg session the other day with Latenight from the old thread and several other friends. It was my first time playing an rpg over skype, it turned out much better than I had expected.

I'm slowly losing interest in MLP and slowly regaining interest in Homestuck. Been playing Persona 4 arena, which is much better than I'd hoped for. I have a headache, and it's hot.

What's up with y'all? Did I miss any pony news over the last week or so?

Oh I expect it will.

I think I've fallen behind in the rewatch thing, though I'm not sure how many people are still doing it. I still want to finish rewatching season 2, since I've already done half of it, and there are definitely several episodes I would like to see again, most particularly the finale.

I just seem to have stopped paying as much attention to the fandom.

That's what a lot of people are speculating, though she's a bit old for that (CMC-age, judging by her box art—the doll itself falls under Spin-Off Babies)

Whoever Skyla is, she seems too important to not be in the show (what with her status as Winged Unicorn royalty and her Exotic Eye Designs), yet she's a Sweetie Belle Palette Swap rather than having a truly new design like Cadance and Shining Armor did from the start...but now that I think about it, Cadance's merch vectors turned out to have a different mane style than her in-show design, and a different mane style is all Skyla would need in order to not be a Sweetie Belle Palette Swap...

In the first two gens, the save limitation was due to lack of space on the cartridge. I have no idea why the later games still have the limitation though, since there's no excuse on the NDS.
