What sort of bugs me is when people use stock art of G3 ponies in articles about/parodies of/anything even tangentially related to this fandom. To me it proves that, depending on the source, A. they're too lazy to actually do some research, B. they genuinely believe we actually discuss and enjoy the girlie sugary-sweet pink-flavored kiddy crap we all grew up hating, C. they do in fact know the difference and just want to see if any of us will notice and complain about it, or D. any combination thereof.

As for the media using G3 stock art, I've learned from my experience on the internet that all news media are sensationalist pricks who are better off ignored in favor of firsthand accounts.
Also, Cracked did an article today about unhealthy mentalities that the Internet turned into movements. Thankfully, we were only given a passing mention. The worst thing the editor said about us is that we were lonely, and that was just an implication.

The ATG are not for people of my specialty. Maybe when I feel like I need to practice pony anatomy I'll look into them but for the most part, screw them.

I figured the Diamond Dogs were just some miners looking for an easy way out. Sleazy well guarded miners. Could've been smugglers or something. A bumbling trio of small-time crooks... like Team Rocket or something.
