Actually, come to think of it, Postal and Uwe Boll's Far Cry and Rampage were actually pretty decent. And House of the dead is at least so awful it's hilarious IMO. How about using his Bloodrayne and "Alone in the dark" films?

Quite simple, really. Have the mane 6 as Special Agents hired to hunt down aliens, give them the amount of personality that a average Red shirt has, play all the cliches compleatly straight with no self-awareness or fun, throw in some awful techno music and sex scenes, destroy everything that makes the show good, and.... Actually, I could go on and on, but I should let other people come up with ideas.

So I finally saw ep26. Well, say what you will about the Changeling Queen, but at least she had the first good song in a while!

Also, an episode with an epic fight scene? Yay! I loved Pinkie Pie in it

And now we also know the reason why Celestia never directly intervenes in anything. Because she's bad at it, apparently. Granted, the Changeling Queen seems to be an equivalence level being, being the, well, Queen of the Changelings like Celestia is Princess of the Ponies, but still, that was a Curbstomp Battle. Next time, let Luna fight (Or maybe Fluttershy could have starred her down... )

I really hope that the events with the changeling queen make everyone realize that Celestia is, in fact, a terrible, terrible ruler.

I still don't get why there are 3 princesses, yet only 1 seems to govern. One would think the presence of them would imply some higher royal power at some point.

The problem is the English language.

No, seriously. Because it doesn't differentiate between a ruling Prince (i.e. ruler of a Principality) and a member of a royal house. The way I see it, initially both Celestia and Luna were Princesses Regnant. Currently, only Celestia is Princess Regnant, while Luna gets to keep her title out of courtesy. Meanwhile, Cadence is a different sort of princess, not a Princess Regnant but merely member of a royal or high noble house.

And a military junta, eh? So you want Shining Armor to rule? Of course, everything that's not a monarchy is by definition a republic so that would be a republic as well

No, a junta would only aggravate the issue. The pony in power must have absolute control over everything and everypony. Otherwise, the bickering would get in the way of progress.
