Mm, I don't know. I mean, yeah, we've come pretty far, but I didn't see the first part of that movie was really offensively bad, just sort of lackluster. Of course, the bulk of it took place away from the ponies, and I could tell from the minute with them that their voices were gonna be annoying.

This horse in Rarity's Imagine Spot is wearing a monocle.
This was completely worth the deterioration of what sense of masculinity I had left, even though the monocle's terribly undersized.

I just got to watch the "A Dog and Pony Show" episode. Oh holy crap. It's awesome! Rarity's snarkery! Though I disagree with her on the whole Mules are ugly thing. I think mules are cute. But anyway, isn't spike adorable? his little crush is cute.

(But yeah, I've just about marathon'd 13 episodes over the past two days, mostly because of Pinkie Pie. It's like someone turned Miria Harvent into a frizzy pink pony made of crack)
