I have planned pony fics set in my Space Opera Crossover Uni. And fic with various plots and stuff inspired by shows like Trek, DW or Babylon 5 but changing show magical setting.
BTW Post more pictures of ponies. And why Mane Tread can't have so much pony?

I was thinking about that Diamond Tiara/Cave Johnson pic I saw, and I just now came up with yet another twist on the infamous Combustible Lemon Rant. Here goes...
Alright, I've been thinking. When journalists give you namby-pamby stories, don't make them into articles. Make the journalists take the stories back! GET MAD! I DON'T WANT YOUR DAMN STORIES! WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO WITH THESE?! Demand some hot, juicy gossip! Make the journalists rue the day they thought they could give Diamond Tiara some namby-pamby stories! Do you know who I am!? I'm the filly who's gonna burn your house down! With the stories! I'm gonna get Featherweight to set up a newspaper bonfire that BURNS YOUR HOUSE DOWN!
...I admit, it's really not that great, but I didn't have much to work with. Plus, someone had already done one with Combustible Apples on Ponibooru, so I couldn't do that.

Indeed. I'm curious about how the episode is going to make use of all the standard detective story cliches.
Judging from the preview (and the show in question), chances are they'll make fun of detective tropes and conventions in spades.
