Ugh, I hate being sick, especially on Winter Wrap-Up day.
SCIENCE SLUMBER PARTIES?
Well, I caved and bought a Happy Meal today. I got Cheerilee! I was hoping for Twilight or Rainbow, but y'know, Cheerilee is pretty nice as well.

I have Applejack and Twilight (my mom loves Shamrock Shakes, so we were already going). And I found a Rarity from last year, before I watched the show. I guess I'm glad I didn't throw her away.
I don't really care about collecting those.
So I don't.

I want the ponies but I don't eat fast food hardly ever, and the rare times I do its not

My parents get
McDonald's fairly often. That's how I grew up, on fast food and pasta.

fast food and pasta
One of these things is not like the other...
As much as I like the show, I personally do not have any interest in getting the toys. I dunno, it just does not appeal to me.

But they seem to
know where they are going, the ones who walk away from Omelas.
We lived with my Nonna until I was 8-9. She was Sicilian and made pasta practically daily.

Quite similar though. Loads and loads of carbohydrates.

Loads and loads of carbohydrates.
You could say the same about bread. Or about potatoes. Or about polenta. Or about any staple food ever, really. Fast food is greasy, unhealthy, and foul tasting. Pasta is none of these things, unless you make it so by adding a greasy, unhealthy, or foul tasting sauce.

Sicilian cuisine is most excellent. And yes, pasta is something that should be eaten often. Perhaps I am just being a stereotypical Italian; but really, it is one of the basic food groups.

I don't know about the high protein diet vs high carb diet debate.

I'm pretty sure that ponies don't go for high protein diets (apart from Pinkamena, perhaps

)

I love spaghetti, mac and cheese and tuna and noodles, so pasta is a go! I also get plenty of protein :)

Can ponies actually digest all the sugary crap they eat?

Pasta is pretty much the one thing I know how to cook. Everything else (that isn't just some kind of instant-cook mix) I only maybe know how to do at best.
I took a guess and cut a portion out of my heart.

Sorry I missed Winter Wrap-Up. I was attending a funeral service for me mum, who, as I mentioned on the Trash Heap, died last Saturday.

I am very sorry.
I don't generally read the trash heap so I did not know this.
