Well... Here it is.

First chapter of my story, crap indexing and all.

I really liked this episode. Pinkie's animation quirks and reality-bending were really amusing, and despite the plot, she didn't annoy me once.

Yeah, for a Pinkie episode it went as well as could be expected ;) Also Dashy was reading more Daring DO!!

Yeah I really enjoyed that they got a bit bolder with showing at least a bit of continuity with Pinkie's baby roommates and Dash hanging out at the library. Cartoon execs tend to be depressingly adamant about not doing stuff like that.

Pinkie was adorable as usual, though the eye through keyhole thing was looking kinda HotDiggedyDemon there. Remember how I said Rarity grew on me after a while? Pinkie's done that too.

The Smile song reminded me very much of more abysmal diabetes cartoons, except...it was fun. Maybe it's because it just works and doesn't feel as forced coming from Pinkie or something.

I was grinning broadly by the end of the song.

This spring, Pinkie Pie is... THE PONY CENTIPEDE!

Allright, it's official: "Smile Smile Smile" is now my favorite song in the series. Seriously, that song put a gigantic smile on my face, and it's also a Ear worm too.

I'm so glad I didn't listen to that song before this episode aired.

Unlike with the whole episode leak, here it just isn't the same if you already know how the song goes when you see it with the visuals for the first time.

I never see any leaked stuff. I like to see everything for the first time when the episode airs.

The only exception to this was when I saw a leaked clip from The Return Of Harmony, part one.

I think that was a preview, instead of a leak.

Honestly, I still don't see the difference between me watching Hearts and Hooves in Youtube on Thursday or in Youtube on Saturday. I have no legal way to watch it anyhow, so it doesn't matter.

That song was really so good that I might just give up another scrap of my dignity and put a pony song in my mp3 player — the one I bring to work, and which I use while studying...
