I remember, from my childhood, when Little Bill's teacher got married. I still remember that episode, the episodes leading up to it, and everything about it. It's quite possibly one of my favorite episodes from a children's show, ever, simply because it introduced me to the "Two part continuity alter-er" without being as horribly depressing as those episodes usually are.

The plot to this MLP episode seems obvious. Big Mac and Cherilee are either good friends or barely romantically interested in each other, CMC's decide to spur them on, they almost get married, get stopped at the altar, and in the end, we are back to normal, with some hints that they may still be in love. I've seen it a million times.

If this episode becomes something more, something leading up to a bigger episode, even if they don't elaborate on it for a large number of episodes?

MLP FIM will become my favorite kids show.

Speaking as an American who watched it, it probably would have been more interesting if it were baseball.

(okay, the last two minutes or so were unusually gripping as far as football goes)

I'm hoping that they end up as a couple at the end of it anyway, because kid's shows rarely shake up the status quo like that.

Yeah, I don't really care who ends up with who so long as someone ends up together and it sticks for later episodes.

But knowing how children's entertainment execs go, they'll say doing that is too risky because kids who missed the episode won't know what's going on and DISASTER AAAAAHHHHHH

Judging from how she sounds like an Aperture Science Personality Construct, I'm guessing she was built by Equestrian Innovations (the Equestria equivalent to Aperture).
