eally, according to most of the fandom all ponies are gay. Yeah, even Princess Celestia.

What do you mean by "even"? She's quite clearly the gayest character in the cast. Yes, even gayer than Rainbow Dash.

I'm intrigued by exactly how different the people who post in the two different threads are. I think the only crryover is Kegisak and myself.

Oh hai, thread, sorry i haven't posted in this one in a while, welcome to the heard all new bronies. Twilight Sparkle, Spike, and Discord are best pony, etc, etc, etc.

SO we're talking aboot shipping? Not my cup of tea though really, I can understand the sentiment of making the characters homosexual when it appears that 90% of ponyville is female.

Braeburn? Snips? Snails? Hoity Toity? Blueblood?
Point. They all appeared in basically only one episode each, though; but yeah, they do exist. smile

But they seem to know where they are going, the ones who walk away from Omelas.

I'm against shipping, because talking horses would only have sex when it's completely rational.

Well... that would be never, really.

Anyways, everyone knows that nothing fun has ever been rational, and shipping is nothing if not fun. Okay, well, certain parts of it. The end result. If they're lucky.

Slightly related: I remember reading a shipping fic where, because ponies are apparently 80% female, F/F relationships were perfectly normal, but M/M relationships were shunned upon, because they essentially weren't filling their roles as breeders. tongue

I found it to be rather interesting.

I prefer to avoid shipping in general. Not that I have a problem with it, it's just...I don't like it, I guess.

To each his own.

I personally greatly enjoy shipping.

...If done well, of course.

Truer words were never spoken.

I can see the appeal that shipping has with some people, I just never got into it myself. However, I'm a big fan of friendship/comfort fics.

If they don't use...extreme measures to get there.

I don't read much of it, but I enjoy writing it. It's fun, and you can really explore the characters by playing them off of one another.

My opinion on shipping has traditionally been "not my thing, but more power to you if it's yours", but I admit that I've been rather enjoying "Allegrezza." I'm not as much a fan of the more recent installments for some reason, though.

Yeah, friendshipping is fun.

...But what I enjoy most of all is a well written heartwarming fic.

Especially if it involves Scootaloo and Rainbow Dash.

Shipping is not my thing but I will accept anything In the name of comedy. Like there as a twilestia fic I read solely to see Twilight freaking Out over accidentally sending Celestia her diary. You know you screwed up when you write about wanting to wear your mentor's skin.

I live off such reactions, thus why I thrive so much on humor five. Heartwarming is for the birds, I want to see how much we can twist these characters and still say somehow "in a certain light , I can see that"

And for more shocked reactions Twi also apperently had diagrams for how they could do it and descriptions of their hypothetical children

And much lulz were had by I

On that note, I'll just say that I hate shipping in all its forms and leave it at that.

Stories about the Mane 6 turning into various monsters and supernatural entities.

Quite good, if you ask me.

I don't mind ponyshipping. I think it's kind of funny, actually.

On the subject of ages, I always thought the Mane 6 were adults. But the only thing we really know for sure is that Fluttershy is a year older than Pinkie Pie. (I smell a logic puzzle in there somewhere.)

I can kind of see the Mane 6 as being somewhere between 18 and 25, considering they still act somewhat childishly at times.

[up][up] That was actually really good. When I saw monstrosity, I though Corrupt the Cutie, but it subverted that expectation

They're as young as they can be while living on their own.

The target audience is little kids, after all.
