Imagespam is fun. I've stopped doing it since I realised that everyone who reads EQD's image updates has already seem the pics I'm linking.

I think Faust's fanwank explanation of her appearance pretty much covers it.

The dark look is related to being in control of her powers.

Well it's obvious that Luna's personality was created after the pilot. No one could have guessed from the evil personality's mannerisms that good Luna would be so old-fashioned.

Aww crap, the discussion has moved on now, and I didn't get to debate about shipping because I coulden't log in for some reason. FUUUUUUUUU-Oh well.

Anyway, speaking of luna, what is up with some of the fans? There going completly apeshit over her canon personality! What did they expect anyway? I expected her to be kinda akward and a little shy, and thats what she was in the new episode, just with a little twist to it. Did they expect a "progress" refrence or something?

Also, I've noticed that a lot of bronies seem to hate sonic the hedgehog, and they rage over any kind of crossover with him and rainbow dash, both on poniebooru and Equestria daily. As a sonic fan myself, could someone who's familer with the series tell me why they get pissed?

As far as I can tell, it's not just bronies. Sonic and his fandom seem to get a bad rap all over the place, mostly due to some of the antics of said fandom, Komodin excepted.

Also keep in mind there's more overlap than usual between bronies and 4chan, and Sonic is a rather classic target there.

That does feed my personal opinion on the subject of Nightmare Moon. That opinion being that NM was really a very upset full-power Luna, as opposed to a corrupted/possessed by an outside source Luna. Though there could very well have been some thing that tempted Luna into turning against her sister, Luna's actions were all her own.

Still, that's just conjecture on my part.

I just found out that it's already dubbed in French. Since, like, two months. And even if the voices aren't as good as the english voices, they're still great (I even think that Rarity's voice is just as good. Maybe a bit more fitting.) and the singing is good.

Fluttershy still sounds cute and shy, Flutterguy's voice is AWESOME (it's not Barry White, but still epic) and Pinkie sounds less hyperactive but just as childish.
