Fluttershy, yes
If we disagree, that much, at least, we have in common
Also, she started using MLP voice clip things for comedic effect o-o Like the one with Jazz voice singing about evil enchantress or something xD
So what to do now?

I like how carefully you wrote those posts to make it sound like you don't watch the show. :B <3

What's the worst that could happen anyways?
I convinced someone I work with to watch it not too long ago. He came in the next day and told me he was hooked. I think he's further along than I am!
Another guy I work with is into the second season (he was the one who convinced
me to watch it).
Give the world the best you have and you will get kicked in the teeth. Give the world the best you have anyway.
I was convinced by this very forum to check it out.
I got in through TV tropes. I can't remember if it first caught my attention through the forums or a
Wiki Walk, but either way I stumbled over to the show's page and started browsing its tropes. After reading over
Better Than It Sounds for "Suited for Success, " I decided to give that episode a try. I did. I liked it. I decided to start from the beginning. I watched. I joined the herd.

I was looking for something to do while Doctor Who was on a hiatus. Ended up bumping into My Little Timelord fanfic and loved it.
Simple as that.
What's the worst that could happen anyways?
I saw a reviewer called CR make a five-second character thing for Pinkie Pie, and really liked the animation of it. So I decided to check out the first episode when my roommates were away, and found a great big, stupid grin plastered on my face for 44 minutes as I watched the first two episodes. I then proceeded to voraciously consume every episode up until 16 (where the season was at the time) within a week, and moved onto fora and fanfiction, and whatnot.
I must admit, when it comes to ponies I am definitely in the closet. I enjoy watching the show and reading the odd piece of fanfiction, but I would be
mortified if my
Real Life friends or relatives learned of it.
Yeah, silly, I know. But hey, everyone has their own dirty little secrets

But they seem to
know where they are going, the ones who walk away from Omelas.

I'm imagining a very proper Italian man in a suit and monocle watching
Friendship Is Magic on his computer, his monocle falling out when someone sneaks up behind him.

Well, I have no monocles and I do not give guarantees about me being "very proper", but the rest of the scenario is definitely possible.
Although I do not
usually wear my suit when watching
Friendship Is Magic.
Well, except that one time at that conference in Germany, but I had a good reason for that: I had just returned at my hotel from a talk at the department, and I had half an hour to spare,
and the new episode had just got out, so I watched it while I still was in my suit and my good tie.

I kept seeing pony avatars everywhere around here and noticed that the threads had a crapton of posts. So I decided to take a look. The first episode I watched was "Suited for Success."
Everything fell into place from there. Now every scrap of paper in my backpack has a pony or three doodled onto it. I'll have to scan some in eventually.

I had the impression that you're the sort of fellow who wears a tie to church and every work day? Do you usually wear them with the less formal odd jacket and trousers, as I do?
(... no wonder Beholderess compares me to Rarity.)

Alright, say hello to my official handdrawn

My original plan was to scan it in and color it digitally, but alas, my scanner had decided it hates me. So I slapped some color on with a combination of pencils and Sharpies and took a photo of it on my phone.

I was persuaded that it was worth watching from the beginning during a discussion on IJBM 2 a while back, although my initial chance exposure to it was on Youtube.
@Gingerale:....But I didn't write them carefully, I don't watch the show....
So what to do now?
