I also wonder what the hell Luna had been doing all of Season 1 since she is still stuck in a millinium old mannerism. You'd think she would had adjusted already. I doubt Nightmare Night was held the very next day after her return. That and Fall Feather Friends and Winter Wrap Up suggest that atleast a year had passed by the end of season 1.

What, you think Celestia is going to share her dominion just like that? Luna's been stuck back on the moon without equine contact the entire time, hence why she wasn't in "The Return of Harmony".

I know this isn't the current topic of discussion but.. since the last episode has anyone else had this strange urge to ship the new Luna with Prince Vultan of Griffins*

I guess what bothers me isn't that Luna hasn't adjusted by now (because really that would just be absurdly fast), it's that she's gone this long without even realizing anything feels off.

Maybe she's just been very sheltered in the castle? She's only up at night, after all.

That said, I actually would love to see a villain voiced by Brian Blessed, just so that he and Luna could shout at each other.

Yeah, my guess is she's been too shy to actually talk to anyone other than her sister, who she's much more relaxed with. Either that, or nopony's told her she's doing something wrong before now. I imagine the servants may be less likely to be frightened by her.

I'd sort of like to see an episode about what Luna was up to in the castle, just to clear all this up.
