Hah, that is pretty catchy! grin Although it leaves out earth-ponies and unicorns.

Which reminds me. If the regular ponies are 'earth', clearly the pegasi are 'air'. If you assume unicorns are fire (closest thing to magic, I guess?) or maybe spirit, there must be some water ponies around somewhere!

I think they must be those whatchamacallits, hippocampus. Horses with fish tails. wink

Well, if you want to go with Christian motifs, you've got Heaven (Pegasi), Earth (Earth Ponies), and Hell (Witchcraftian, Devil Unicorns). Might a little dark though.
The emotions of others can seem like such well guarded mysteries, people 8egin to 8elieve that's how their own emotions should 8e treated.

That's already part of the canon? Well, there you go!

... but I still think they should be hippocampus, not seahorses. Even though I have no idea how a hippocampus would even move around.

Hippocampus version Sea Ponies is most popular in fandom. If they add them to show I hope it will be creature with front hooves.

Well hippocampus is main reason why I'm not totally against Sea Ponies.
Because he know I'm going to go out in this plane and I'm going to remove one of His creations from His universe.

Given the mythical creatures appearing and the architecture in Cloudsdale, the classical elements seem more thematically fitting.

Edit: Plus, thinking about it, a number of the unicorns appear to be quite wealthy or important (e.g. many of the inhabitants of Canterlot) or at least classier than average (e.g. Rarity), which would suggest unsavoury things about Equestria if they represented Hell.

D:

Interestingly, the original comic that one claims to be parodying itself looks to be a parody of St. Elsewhere. Parodyception?

Aw, the stream for the next episode has started but I missed the beginning.

I don't feel like starting watching it halfway, I'll wait for the youtube link.
But they seem to know where they are going, the ones who walk away from Omelas.

I liked "Luna Eclipsed", though I don't think it was as good as the Season 2 average thus far.

The funniest thing was how different Luna was from her fanon characterisation.

Yeah, it was entertaining, but not as good as the previous one IMO, and perhaps quite a bit predictable — who else saw the plot twist coming from a mile away?

And yeah, Luna was completely different from the fanon characterization. But in a good way.

So, I might have just became a brony solely because of Luna.

From a comment in the youtube video:

Wait a second, if Night Mare Moon has a holiday centered around her, why didn't anypony recognize her when she first showed up in Episode 1?

Um, he or she has a point. Thoughts?

So Luna knows the word "enjoy", but not the word "fun"?

I don't care how predictable the twist was. Luna has the BEST personality.
