Yeah I made that same note earlier. (I don't remember which thread, though.)
I took a guess and cut a portion out of my heart.
He said, "That's nowhere close enough, but it's a damn good start."

Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation? Tell me, if you understand. Who marked off its dimensions? Surely you know! ~ GOD
Kinda late to the party, aren't we?
I took a guess and cut a portion out of my heart.

I missed the first airing. D:
In any case, Discord is already way up there as one of my favorite villains ever. Hmmm...

Actually, I kind of meant that we were making the Discord == Q comparison for a long while now, even before the episode aired.
I took a guess and cut a portion out of my heart.

Off topic, but inane, where did you get your avatar?
Tick Tock, goes the clock/ He cradled and he rocked her/ Tick Tock, goes the clock/Till River kills the Doctor.
Either Ponibooru or it was a post header on Equestria Daily, I can't remember.
Ah, okay.
Tick Tock, goes the clock/ He cradled and he rocked her/ Tick Tock, goes the clock/Till River kills the Doctor.
I still need to watch the first episode of season 2. >_>
Which is saying something.

The movement is quite a bit more dynamic, and the scenes seem to have more spatial depth.
To tell the truth, It's certainly wasn't for lack of a laugh that Discord was "generous" enough not to deharmonize Twilight by the end of the episode. Even though some view it as a kindness, It'll ultimately be her undoing as she's loyally hanging onto any grasp of hope.
You know, after my fifth time of watching the episode, I noticed how sarcastic Fluttershy sounded when talking to Discord the butterflies, and then, after my eighth time watching, I realized that she might have realized what was going on, and was just playing along with Discord the butterflies because she was too embarrassed to say she saw through the deception, or something.
