From what I read, they wanted the episodes to be viewable in any order. That said, there are still some continuity nods.

As for the whole torrenting thing, it's not any worse than linking to a youtube video. As many of the uploads are in 1080p. And the folks involved in the production don't seem to care.

Unless of course the rule here are that torrenting itself is bad. Which is just... neophobic. Like opposing emulation altogether. Because you can download lots of things legally with Bittorrent. It's how I've been getting my Linux distributions in recent year. Would it be illegal for me to link to a Ubuntu torrent or Overclocked Remix one? That's kind of sad if that's the case. Because OC Remix definitely would prefer you torrent rather than just direct download.

As for people interested in supporting them, when you download the episodes, and if you like it, you can support the creators by paying for the downloads they have available on iTunes. I'm certainly planning on it. Also buying toys will say to Hasbro that the show is a success. The creators wouldn't mind us linking to a torrent here(even though the google docs all use DDL, for reasons I am unaware of). But it would be a good gesture.

Well, the episodes probably aren't in chronological order currently, unless the seasons in Equestria work differently. We had Fall Weather Friends after Winter Wrap-Up with multiple mentions of the Grand Galloping Gala in a couple of episodes.

Good point. Though, I just assumed that there were several months between when those episodes took place.

I think it's safe to assume that seasons work differently in Equestria since ponies pretty much run the environment with the exception of places they don't bother with like the Evergreen forest.

The ponies recoiling in horror at the notion of nature being able to operate without intervention was pretty much the best thing ever.

It's been airing on The Hub since October. The first episode went viral and people went nuts about it, realizing all of it's potential and how great it is. 4chan's /co/ board in particular was beaming with general threads and image macros of it from the first week.

Also I realized why I don't like Applejack that much, and they're stupid reasons.

She doesn't have any special powers and she's the closest thing to normal there is in the main group of ponies. Though she does have a strong work ethic and a no-nonsense demeanor.
