@Sereg: ~~Virgin Power?~~ I was thinking that that's referring to some magic she did, not her magic itself.

Also, the ponies in the book not looking like Crystal Ponies and the Crystal Kingdom flag not being shown in the present day make me think that the Crystal Kingdom was populated by normal ponies and eventually became the Crystal Empire populated by Crystal Ponies.

Now it's time to WMG the sh*t out of this!

Cadence is the heir of the Crystal Kingdom, which unfortunately was destroyed long ago by an evil, like say, Discord. The Crystal Ponies have since assumed the roles of a backwords, countryless people, who have forgotten their once-proud heritage. Now that the Kingdom has it's rightful ruler again, Cadence is trying to restore it back to it's glory.

Spooky.

I'm going to make a really optimistic

and say that the reason is that Cadance is pregnant and her son's magic is interfering with her own. Because that allows for cool stuff to happen later.

's description would give us some clue as to Shining Armor's potential role in the Crystal Empire, but there don't seem to be any photos of the back of the box yet. (I bet when we do finally see it, it'll be something that'll make us go "Oh man, if we had known that back then!")

Wait, have they said anything on when the third season will start airing? The very first episode aired in October 10, 2010. The second season's first episode aired in September 17, 2011.

I'm willing to betcha they'll start airing in September. Maybe they'll air even earlier than that!

If Hasbro is being mum about the second half of the third season, maybe that's because, GASP, they have an ace up their sleeves!
